Six months ago, my life was a mess.  I couldn’t see up from down and had no idea in which direction I was supposed to be going.  I was a single Mum, who couldn’t balance the books and make ends meet, stuck in a job that I hated and was at my wit’s ends with my ex-partner and daughter’s father.  Then, almost like fate, I stumbled across a poster in the lunchroom at work advertising for sessions with a Life Coach.  I had seen Life Coaches on GMTV and thought, “What have I really got to lose?” I’ve tried everything I could think of but couldn’t make heads or tails of what was going on in my life and felt like I was drowning… maybe this is my solution so I called… and everything else since has started to fall into place.

The first phone call was easier than I expected. Fiona was brilliant at guiding the conversation and that was enough to encourage me to do it again.  Conversations were never forced – in fact, Fiona has been easier to talk to than some of my friends!  And, she has a real knack of seeing through the cloud at what I was trying to say sometimes and making sense of it all.  We made ‘baby steps’ through each of the issues which served to increase my confidence and help me get back to being me again.

Six months on and I have found my dream job, my finances are in order, my daughter is healthy and happy and her father and I are getting relationship counselling to see if we can salvage our relationship.  I knew deep down inside that all this was possible to achieve… I just needed to figure out how to do it – and that’s where Fiona was a blessing!

The great thing about Life Coaching is that you aren’t being told what to do – you are being empowered to figure it out yourself and are given the support you need to go out and get it.  I would highly recommend it, and have, to anyone who just needs that little extra push to seize back their life!  Thank you Fiona for helping me to turn my life around!
